As Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) usage continues to increase as a way for producers to keep costs down while utilising stockpiles of reclaimed asphalt pavement, ASTEC has increased the ability of its signature double barrel drum dryer/mixer to handle RAP. The ASTEC double-barreled HR includes enhancements to the drum which allows use of up to 65 per cent RAP. A 1/8 model of the new high RAP double barrel drum was on display during the ConExpo 2014 trade show in Las Vegas.

TIL registers 28% growth

TIL reported its financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2011. On a consolidated basis, TIL (including Indian and overseas subsidiaries) reported a net sales including operating income of Rs 352.44 crore for the first quarter of FY 2011-12 vis-?-vis Rs 274.7 crore during corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, registering a growth of 28 per cent.
